When you’re getting ready to travel, you don’t want to spend any time stressing about packing or flying. We’ve compiled a list of tips to make your trip easier:
- Give yourself enough time! This includes the drive to the airport, checking in and going through the security checkpoint. We recommend arriving at least 2 hours before your scheduled boarding time.
- Dress comfortably and wear shoes that are easy to remove.
- Hydrate! Sometimes traveling by air can cause dehydration so it is generally a good idea to drink water before, during, and after a flight.
- Follow the 3-1-1 rule for packing liquids. According to TSA’s website, you are allowed to pack liquids, gels, and aerosols in a carry-on, but they must be 3.4 ounces or less per container, fit in 1 quart size, clear, plastic, zip top bag (all liquids must fit in bag), and 1 bag per passenger.
- Pack items in layers – shoes, clothing, electronics, etc.
